Holland, MA – The Webster Water Ski Collective (WWSC), in partnership with Team Hoyt New England and the Aqua Riders of Holland, is proud to host the 3rd Annual Adaptive Ski Day this Thursday, June 19th from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Aqua Riders’ home site in Holland, MA.

More than 20 participants with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities will join trained staff and volunteers from the WWSC and Aqua Riders for an empowering day on the water. Using specialized adaptive water ski equipment and individualized instruction, this event provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every participant—regardless of ability—can experience the thrill of water skiing.

This event marks the official kickoff of WWSC’s sixth season of adaptive water skiing, a program that continues to grow each year. In 2025, WWSC will host adaptive ski events at Lake Quinsigamond (including a special clinic for Veterans), Lake Lashaway, Webster Lake, and Long Pond in Tyngsboro, in addition to weekly Sunday adaptive practice sessions at Glen Echo Lake in Charlton.

“We’re proud to be expanding our programming again this year,” said Ryan DesRoches, Director of Adaptive Skiing at WWSC. “Every event brings new smiles, new breakthroughs, and reinforces our commitment to providing life-changing recreational opportunities for people of all abilities.”

The WWSC is especially grateful to the Aqua Riders of Holland, who generously host this event at their private site. The Aqua Riders are a competitive show ski team composed of talented youth and adults who perform acrobatic, high-energy ski shows throughout the summer. In addition to volunteering at adaptive events, the Aqua Riders are preparing for the NSSA Eastern Regional Show Ski Tournament this July in Scotia, NY.

The Aqua Riders will also perform free Friday night shows at their Holland site on the following dates:

  • July 11

  • July 18

  • August 9

  • Special Home Show: August 16
