Adaptive Water Ski Clinic – FAQ

❓ Who is this event for?
This event is open to individuals of all ages and all abilities who are interested in trying adaptive water skiing in a fun, supportive, and safe environment. First-time and returning skiers are all welcome!
❓ How much does it cost to participate?
The event is completely free, thanks to the generous support of our partners and sponsors. However, we do ask for a $40 refundable deposit to reserve your spot. Deposits are returned on the day of the event (upon request) or can be donated to help support future adaptive skiing programs.
❓ What’s included in the event?
Adaptive water skiing for all registered participants
All necessary ski and safety equipment
One-on-one support from trained instructors and volunteers
Safety and support boats
Complimentary lunch for all participants and volunteers
A fun, inclusive, and celebratory atmosphere!

This scenic waterfront venue offers a welcoming space for skiing, spectating, and relaxing throughout the day.
❓ How do I register?
To register:
Submit your $40 refundable deposit
Complete the registration form, including emergency contact and accessibility information
Early registration is encouraged — space is limited!
❓ How many participants can join?
We anticipate being able to accommodate approximately 24–30 adaptive skiers throughout the day, depending on water conditions and session availability.
❓ Can friends and family attend?
Yes! Friends, family members, and caregivers are welcome to join us as spectators and cheerleaders. There will be areas to sit, relax, and enjoy the event.
❓ What if I need to cancel?
We ask for at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel so that we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. Cancellations with proper notice are eligible for a deposit refund.
❓ I’ve never skied before. Can I still participate?
Absolutely! Many of our participants are trying water skiing for the very first time. Our trained volunteers and specialized equipment are designed to accommodate a wide range of abilities, including individuals with significant mobility limitations.
