Lake Lashaway Adaptive Water Ski Day – FAQ

❓ Who can participate in this event?This event is open to all ages and all disabilities. Whether you're brand new to adaptive water skiing or have tried it before, you're welcome to join us!
❓ Is there a cost to participate?The event is FREE to participants, but we do require a $40 refundable deposit to hold your spot. You’ll have the option to receive your deposit back at the event, or you can choose to donate it to help support future adaptive ski events.
❓ What are the session times?We are offering two ski sessions:
Morning Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
A free lunch for all participants and volunteers will be served at noon.
❓ How many spots are available?We are accepting approximately 24 skiers total, split between the morning and afternoon sessions. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
❓ What happens if I need to cancel?We ask for at least 72 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. Cancellations made with proper notice are eligible for a deposit refund.
❓ What do I need to do to register?
Submit your $40 refundable deposit.
Complete the registration form, including emergency contact information.
❓ Is equipment provided?Yes! We provide all adaptive water ski equipment, life jackets, and trained volunteers to help you have a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.
❓ Can friends or family come watch?Absolutely! Spectators are welcome and encouraged to cheer you on from shore. We will have areas for families to relax and watch the action.
❓ What if I’ve never skied before or have significant mobility limitations?No problem! Our experienced team is trained to work with individuals of all ability levels, and we have a variety of equipment to accommodate different needs. Many of our participants are first-time skiers!
